    Wow!

I'm sad he's retiring because I enjoy watching him play and fully believe he could have been a HOFer but he needs to do what is right for him and I don't begrudge him one bit. I don't begrudge any of these guys who retire early, it's their right, except Andrew Luck that ****** left my keeper league fantasy team in the lurch. Freaking jerk. JK

We're just going to start seeing this more and more I think. Guys will play just long enough to get a second contract, play out that contact, and retire with enough money to live the rest of their life and not have a jumbled up brain. Especially at positions like linebacker that have some of the consistently hardest hits.

And why wouldn't they? It makes sense. It's what I would do.

I think HoF voters are going to adjust and vote guys into the Hall. We know LK was elite and was elite for so long it wasn't just a flukey season or two. Guys like him, Calvin Johnson, Willis, etc are retiring early and unless we're going to stop voting in the top shelf talent and producers, those changes will have to be made.

I don't blame him for retiring. All the money in the world won't do shit for you if your health issues are beyond modern medicine. What a great guy. What a great player. The league is less talented and fun now. Godspeed to LK, and may he enjoy the rest of his life.
