Seems unfair
It’s like he is the fall guy for poor o-line, flacco and early season bolles
Also means a new system for lock when he looked comfortable in scangs offense
Why??? Ffs build something you ******* idiots.
Gotta agree. While Scang made some mistakes, he showed alot of promise in certain areas too. Are we gonna let the man develop?
Im wondering if there is behind the scenes action spurring this. Either Scang wants to leave after a phone call from a friend, or Elway wants him gone, or Fangio and him butt heads over something.........this dont seem right. Doesnt pass the smell test.
Which falls on Elway.
IN PATON I TRUST.
I wouldn’t be too harsh on Elway, this has Fangio’s fingerprints all over it. As soon as Shurmur was fired, this was set in motion. It’s possible they wouldn’t have fired Scangs has Shurmur not become available. Fangio wanted this. Shurmur isn’t some super innovator, but he is a better OC than 2/3 of the ones in the league.

Its been reported this was Fangio's call through and through. Agreed its not anything with Elway. If anything I think Elway is quite happy with fangio and trust him now to makes these kind of decisions. That bodes well for the GM/coach relationship to keep growing....

I wonder if they have a hire in mind that they were waiting on. Otherwise why not do this two weeks ago?
Scangs wasn’t good but I figured he was learning on the job and we’d keep him for another year and give him the full offseason to design an offense for Lock
