I hope im right, more and more i am talking myself into this being a great move.
From what we saw, he was great at scripting and bad at adjustments. I will never understand how it was always a tale of two halves with our offense.

Broncos the past five years have never been aggressive. the only identity theyve had was putrid. Lets be real it cant get any worse... Can it?

We're going to have a top 10-12 total offense next year.

I sure hope so! We need some better personnel, and even if we're at 10 I still think this gets better in yet anothe year or two.

There are a lot of reasons for hope

What make you think that? Shumar has had more bottom 5 offenses then he has any middle of the road ones.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Based off Football outsiders offensive rankings overall

    2019 with Jones- 23rd
    2018 with Manning- 13th
    2017 with Bradford/Keenum- 5th
    2016 with Bradford/Shaun Hill- 26th
    2015 with Bradford/Sanchez- 26th
    2014 with Foles/Sanchez- 13th
    2013 with Vick/Foles- 3rd
    2012 with Weeden- 27th
    2011 with McCoy- 25th
2010 with Bradford- 30th But did help bradford have a prolific rookie campaign and win rookie of th year
    2009 with Boller- 32nd

only 2 years did he field a bottom 5 offense out of 11 years of most recent coaching as HC or OC. Look at his Qb's he has had to work with as well....poor guy........no wonder he is well liked in NFL circles.....

Stats and QB situations matter.....Thankfully we have a Qb he likes and will develop
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

something that always stuck with me about skangs was after he was hired or during the off-season he was asked about half time adjustments and he defiantly rebuked the idea of doing them.

his failure to adjust is the number 1 issue he was fired for, great script zero ability to adjust or adapt to game flow.....

Not worried about the impact on Drew at all. He had 3 OC's in college.
