Not sure these are one-liners. Y'all might check your math. If counting to one isn't a chore.

    Secret destroyer

(here is where I'm not sure if I'm doing an embarrassing misquote. Like the Pixies Debaser lyrics--you think it's 'and I'll lose ya' but it's actually Andalusia--and you were reppin that lyric so hard.)

    Nope, it’s right.

    Secret destroyers,
Hold you up to the flame.
    And what do I get,
    For my pain?
    Betrayed desires,
And a piece of the game.

I believe it’s his thoughts about and a veiled tribute to Kurt Cobain.

I'm kinda getting piqued about that album now, 25 years late.

    It’s a ******* masterpiece. I’m not kidding. It’s a modern opus.

It's kinda weird why I'm cautious of Corgan. Quirky road to get to be the guy who loves all the alternative stuff as a 20 year old in 1995 but withholds appreciation of the Pumpkins. Maybe I should explain some day.

I’ll put Melon Collie up against any album ever. There are classical elements, metal elements, jazz elements, blues elements.

Billie Corgan had one of his best ever interviews with Howard Stern. And one of Stern's great interviews as well.

Wide-ranging. Life, music, childhood. Just everything.

If you have Sirius/XM, go pull it up on the app or stream it. It's labelled "Smashing Pumpkins" because the whole band (as currently constituted) is in the studio, but the main conversation is with Corgan.
