Armageddon. Probably my favorite movie just sit and watch and have a good time. I only ever hear that movie get shit on because of all the scientific inaccuracies but I feel like that just totally misses the point of that movie, which is just a fun action flick that you can just turn your brain off and enjoy. It's just such a hilarious and quotable movie with such a great cast.

That is a fine movie. My son freaking loves that movie.

The Ringer with Johnny Knoxville is a good flick with a lot of heart and a cool message in the end.

I love Hudson Hawk, I don't know if it's better than people think or if I love it because it's worse than anyone claims.

Batman v Superman. Critically hated but I kept waiting for the movie to get bad as I watched it in the theater after seeing the reviews. That time never came. IT NEVER CAME! My son and I watch it frequently, I don't know why I like it so much.

    Some more:

    • Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
    • MacGruber
    • Legend (1985)
    • UHF
    • Die Hard: With a Vengeance
    • Howard the Duck
    • Willow
    • Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
    • The Gate (1987)
    • Mallrats

I am a purveyor of bad cinema and even I haven’t heard of “Airborne.”
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Willow and Mallrats came out at a time in my life where I never even thought about movie criticism. They are two of my favorite movies, and to this day, I’ve never looked up reviews. The reviews must be bad if Shake is mentioning them.

Mallrats and UHF are good ones. I haven't seen any of the Die Hard sequels but I need to. That's another movie series that seems like giving it a bad critical review is kinda missing the point of it.

The Ninth Gate is one of my favorites that is overwhelmingly panned.

I thought BvS was pretty good and Affleck nailed it as an older, grizzled Batman.

Jack Black is enough to make me not see a movie.
