Default Movie franchises you'd like to see (novels, comics, etc.)

I'd like to see some of the darker graphic novel franchises get some love. I really liked Y:Last Man & Saga--both by Brian Vaughn. There are a ton of quality titles that could spice up what we get--but they wouldn't have the same popcorn draw as an Avengers. More toward the Punisher and Logan side of things.

How about Preacher, the Ennis comic?

As far as books go, what about the Steven Erikson series? That *has* to happen. I wonder if anyone has the movie rights and is planning something.

    Preacher is an AMC show.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I was really enthralled with The Name of the Wind. Would like to see a well-done adaptation of that.

I’ve dabbled. It’s pretty good. It’s on Hulu.
