Special thanks to the Faid for beating the Chargers and putting us over in the division.
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Tebow based on that season. I watch the remarkable things Sean Payton does with Taysom Hill and it gets me wondering what might have been if Tebow had himself been more flexible and the coaching staff more creative.
Yeah, I know. Different guys, different fan bases, was never gonna happen, but still...

Ouch. I walked out in disgust on the MNF Broncos/Chargers game in SD in Manning’s first season in Denver. It was just that terrible Gary Glitter song and cannons over and over and fans dancing in the stands as the Chargers roared to something like a 4 touchdown lead by halftime. I was miserable and was actually there on free tickets with a connection to the Chargers (so probably the worst section in the house for fan support).
Missed what I think still stands as the biggest MNF comeback of all time. The bar I wound up in heard my drunken ass when Denver took the lead though.

Those were obviously awesome moments, but I have to say, as painful as the losses were, the way Elway played/carried the team during the 80's and going to three out of four were probably among my most exciting, no matter how crushing the SB losses were.
I used to listen to 850 KOA on AM after the sun went down with my 100' AM antenna strung between two trees, back when it was all Broncos, all the time.
That play is forever cemented in every Bronco fans mind.
Polumalu:
"There's no way they're going to run that same route again," he said. "As a safety, part of your job is to eliminate certain routes that you don't think they're going to run. I would line up and say, 'They ran that the last time, there's no way they're going to run it again.' Then they did. The next time, 'There's no way they're going to run that again,' then they did.
"It was an incredibly simple offense that you just don't think can work in this league, but it worked for them with the kind of talent they had."
Guess what play it was?
lol
IN PATON I TRUST.
You guys have poor standards.

My wife got me a Timmy Touchdown Broncos "Orange" jersey for Christmas.
Picked it up at a local pawn shop for 25 bucks.
It's a legit jersey too. Sewn on name and numbers.
I love it.
TT's time in Denver will always hold a special place in my heart.
And that play will too...
