Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan
Draft
RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St
FA
1. With what money
Bolles is inconsistent and has had avg to solid stretches of play followed by big mental lapses and poor technique.....the value you see is in the eye of the beholder and its clear you value shiny speedy toys over long term protection of your most valuable asset a team has which is the QB.....to each their own. I prefer to pay money to guys that can actually block consistently and are not mentally challenged by adversity or bad moment in the game. Its not good when your QB has to keep running away from DL players long enough to get the ball downfield to said speedy shinny toys....I would take Jason peters at his current cost over a cheaper Bolles, cause the guy sucks needs to be upgraded and upgrading the OL cost Money....Its pretty bad when a dude can be 38 years old and make a younger OT look like a loser in comparison.....
Dude needs to go....he can be some other teams problem....

i'm not against shanny-- he deserves to be in, and was always going to get in. . . but damn, they need to take care of eddie mac and al wilson in the worst way. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
rest - https://www.milehighreport.com/2018/...wilson-is-backAl Wilson retired from the Denver Broncos in 2006. He joined Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason, and Steve Atwater to discuss his return to Denver after being away for so long.
For a little context, Wilson’s departure from the franchise was not a pretty one. A trade to the New York Giants fell through when he failed his physical. He filed and lost a malpractice suit against the team doctor, and has made it known in the past that he did not care for the organization.
That has been a bit of a sticking point for many fans in Broncos Country. For good reason, Al Wilson is a fan favorite. He was a five time Pro-Bowler (2001-2003, 2005, 2006), and an AP 1st Team All-Pro (2005) and 2nd Team All-Pro (2006). Wilson is probably considered the last great middle linebacker the team has had.
