I don’t think so. We need him. Plus, we have him on the cheap right now.

I think they draft/sign a late round RB too, with no need for a FB and expanded game day rosters there’s a roster spot open for a RB that plays ST’s.

    DeeJay Dallas returns punts/kicks.

That's the worst part. Message to Phil: you ain't starter material bro.

That's cold water and frankly wrong imo.

my main midget MO hates this more than you hate joe flacco. . . i suspect fangio. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

It wouldnt suprise me, he wasnt happy at numerous points with the run game and the offesne. He alluded to needing to be able to run the ball more effectively multiple times...He may not realize it wasnt just Lindsay's fault, but maybe he saw stuff on tape he didnt like or something....The move just baffles me as it baffles most other media folks as well.....

The offense just really needs two backs, and it has been apparent the last 2 years that neither Royce or Lindsay are "we need one yard, go get it" type backs. Melvin Gordon is. While I could certainly see Melvin Gordon being used as Shurmur's LeSean McCoy or Saquon Barkley, Lindsay is too good to be kept off the field. I would look for Shurmur to use him similarly to how he used Sproles in Philadelphia, or McKinnon in Minnesota.

With that said, if I'm Lindsay this signing actually does worry me. I don't foresee him beating Melvin Gordon in camp to remain the #1 back.

If it means Denver doesn’t have to pay Lindsay like Kamara in order to keep him long term I hope Gordon starts.

Gordon is the starter unless he gets hurt. You don’t shell out $13+ million to a RB for him to sit on the bench.
