UPDATED: As one #Broncos great told me, "It's a sad day in Broncos Country." Linebacker Randy Gradishar fails in his bid for Hall of Fame. He still has a decent chance to get in someday. But today hurts. My #Denver7 story: http://bit.ly/2to6cuv

Jeff Legwold is #Broncos HOF presenter... He works his ass off in these cases, see Floyd Little for example. Eventually Gradishar gets in I believe. Again, what I don't understand: take names and teams out. Look at numbers/awards. Gradishar should be a lock. #Denver7

I am not going to talk about bias.. Fans can make up their mind about that. Just know the numbers. As @MaseDenver said, Gradishar is one of 10 LBs in NFL history w 10 fumble recoveries, 20 interceptions and seven Pro Bowl berths. The other nine are in the Hall of Fame. #Denver7

Reminder that's no consolation. Belief is that 20 members eligible today will all eventually get into HOF: So Gradishar and Drew Pearson over the next 3-to-5 years. But man this waiting is agonizing, annoying, and in Gradishar's case, unnecessary. Stats scream he's HOFer #Denver7

I am finished with the HoF. It used to be on my bucket list but I wouldn’t go now if you gave me a ticket. What a joke.

Jimmy Johnson and Bill Cowher being selected were nothing more than “made for tv moments.” There are much more deserving coaches out there.

I think it was 4-1. Or am I wrong?

Default Courtland Sutton named to first career Pro Bowl

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Courtland Sutton is heading to Orlando.

The NFL announced on Wednesday that the second-year Broncos receiver was named to the AFC's Pro Bowl team to replace Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins, who is recovering from an injury.

Sutton racked up 1,112 receiving yards and six touchdowns in his second NFL season, showing a significant jump in his game as he became the Broncos' top offensive target and one of the league's most dangerous receiving threats. With his 6-foot-4, 216-pound frame and sticky hands, Sutton produced an enormous catch radius for his quarterbacks and put defensive backs in impossible positions. In addition to his receiving yards, Sutton drew numerous penalties against cornerbacks and safeties who could not defend him.

It's turned into who's on TV contest. I'm so disgusted at them snubbing their nose on Randy. He earned the right to be in Canton with his play. Not to mention that Orange Crush is what turned Denver into a football city. I'm just heart broken for Randy. I listened to his interview on 104.3 and I just teared up. I know life isn't fair, but this is just wrong.

Default NFL Journal: Broncos tight end Noah Fant ready to tackle offseason to-do list to build off rookie year

Noah Fant declared for the NFL Draft on Nov. 30, 2018.

“It feels like five years ago, how long our year was,” he laughed during a phone interview Thursday from Los Angeles.

It was a long year for Fant, who went from the pre-draft process straight into the Broncos’ rookie camp once he was selected 20th overall. He played 704 snaps and led all NFL rookie tight ends with 562 yards receiving (40 catches and three touchdowns).

“A lot of improvement throughout the year, but I also feel like I could have done a lot better,” Fant said. “I’m looking to build off that and have an even better year (in 2020) and keep stacking bricks on top of each other and doing that season after season.”

Default 'I just need to go build on this': Evaluating Phillip Lindsay's Year 2 performance

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — With just under eight minutes to play in the Broncos' 2019 season finale, Phillip Lindsay took a handoff and broke free off right tackle.

By the time he was shoved out of bounds 8 yards later, he had elevated himself onto a pedestal where he stands alone in NFL history.

With the run, Lindsay became the first undrafted player in the league's history to begin his career with back-to-back seasons with 1,000 rushing yards.

With Mike Shula interviewing for Giants' offensive coordinator position but not getting the nod, he figures to be in mix as Broncos QB coach. He was Pat Shurmur's OC/QB coach last two years with NYG. Shula also former 'Bama head coach; laid foundation for Saban. #9sports
