That “win” cost Denver at least 6 slots and a shot at one of the few pure LT’s in the draft ... and the only reason anyone of us will ever remember that game is because I’ll still be bitching about it forever.

Try to remember that this time next year when Bolles is still holding on every play and “The experts on BF” have the audacity to question JFE’s drafts.

    It was meaningless. Thoroughly. Meaningless.

Especially since the experts on BF have told us that Elway bombs every draft anyway, so what does it matter if he blows the 10th or 15th pick?
Of course draft Position doesn’t matter to people that are worried about the mean things the internet says about Joe Ellis, that’s understandable.

I can't figure out why people expect that the Raiders moving to Las Vegas would somehow make them good?

They're still and always "da Raiders." That's a team that had a logo on the Wall: "The Raiders! A Team for the Decades!" Not mentioning what decades this might refer to. Probably 1984 when Marcus Allen crushed the Redskins or maybe Timmy Smith, because it can't be referring to any thing that has happened since then.

Although I suppose they could be referring to the 2000s' because they had that one SB blowout where the Tampa Bay Bucks absolutely KO'd them in that game?

That is the awesome history that makes "da Raiders!" the "Team of the Decades!"

And it ain't going to change because "Chucky is back!"

I think those were the days they moved to LA.

Default Sources: Rams set to hire Brandon Staley and Kevin O'Connell as coordinators

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Rams are finalizing deals to hire Brandon Staley as defensive coordinator and Kevin O'Connell as offensive coordinator, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Staley, who served last season as the Denver Broncos' outside linebackers coach, replaces Wade Phillips, who earlier this week was informed that his contract would not be renewed.

Bolles better not still be out there holding again next year!

Couple that with Lock going 5-1 --- it's hard to make any objective case that Elway should have stayed pat at #10 and taken Bush. The trade back already looks like a winner. Give me the three offensive players who could be the foundation for the next 5-10 years over one Pro Bowl LB.

Do not forget their 3rd rd pick we have this year too. That player and or trade up for a higher pick this year must also be factored in.
(Not that you need the reminder, but it sure is fun to let everyone see the mastery of that move in its entirety)
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
