No, old boy still works in the front office.

Yeah. The temper tantrum was a little overboard, but I like the competitiveness. As we witnessed on Sunday, he was given that shot to kick. I’ve always liked McManus, but I hope he doesn’t have any more tantrums.

Prater was with a Shotgun Willie's employee, he hit a parked car and was found with a .142 BAC. He was suspended for 4 games. That's it. No other suspensions, no other incidences. He went to rehab while on the suspension. Gets kicked to the curb.

The Director of Player Personnel and Elway's #2 guy, Matt Russell, hits a police car and runs, is still with the team.

Tom Heckert, executive scout, gets a DUI in the same time period and stayed with the Broncos until 2018.

    Funny, the hypocrisy.

So the 4 game suspension was actually for failing a drug test in 2014, the DUI was in 2011. After the DUI, he went into the substance abuse program and could be tested for consuming alcohol which is what he failed a test for 3 years later.

Not to say there isn't hypocrisy with how the front office guys were punished, but it was two separate things for prater.

Ahhhh, I looked up articles and they didn't say that. Makes sense. Thanks, wave! Still don't like the precedent that there is a different rules for players and execs.

Prater was just sad in Denver, I bet he’s better off now.

He is also the only walk on to have made the team in the history of the Broncos. In 1983, 478 hopefuls went to Greeley to become a Denver Bronco and Karlis is the only one to make it past that single day.

Yea, probably got pissed he was held accountable while the office guys did the same and stayed comfy.
