To be fair it took 50% of this board 3 months to understand that we didn't extend Flacco.

The article is clickbait -- but the underlying betting odds are interesting because Shurmur and Bridgewater worked together briefly in Minnesota. If no teams want to sign him as a starter - it's not the most far fetched thing I can think of that we'd sign him as a backup.

It still seems unlikely - but not out of the realm of possibility.

I can't see us blowing 8mil ish (anything more is Insanity) a year on a backup QB, and I like Bridgewater. Spend that money to improve and lock folks up b4 Lock costs us 30mil per in 3 years.

I see nothing wrong with a battery powered chainsaw. I also don't see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind.

Trade for Slay, trade for Diggs, pick one departing FA between Shelby Harris, CHJ, Wolfe, etc, and overpay for them. Pick up Trevathan, who should be a little cheaper than most would expect. Then just go BPA in the draft, especially if you cannot land a good option in FA/trades.

That plan is pretty flexible, and specific enough to mean something as well. I think. I don't know. I'm just an Artful Dodger.

Amukamara just got cut. And oddly now that he's healthy Tremaine Brock was one of the top 20 corners in 2019 per off. Logan Ryan is out there too. I'm trying to talk myself into Slay but he's expensive and overrated

    Not trading for anyone.

    Sign Cory Littleton first.

    Byron Jones or Harris.

    Wolfe.

Get the rest in the draft.
    IN PATON I TRUST.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
