    Byron Jones or Harris.

    Wolfe.

Get the rest in the draft.
The problem is that this team has holes that directly impact Lock's growth. Do you want to gamble and hope that the WR's we draft and have now can develop into the guys we need? Or, do you want to grab one now that meets the following needs: fills WR two hole, gets Lock another WR threat so teams can't clamp down on Sutton, let's Sutton grow into his role, and frees up a position that we probably have to develop heavily.

Wolfe's availability is an issue. And his play has been declining until a contract year. Sorry, if we can keep him on a nice deal that's fine, but his worth and importance is overstated in general. Not necessarily by you.

Apparently the new greatest thing is to stockpile picks in the 2021 draft, so if that’s the case send Vikings a ‘21 pick ... ya know, since it’s SO MuCH more valuable.

Nope, the highest comp picks are at the end of round 3 and it all depends on the kinds of FA the Broncos sign.

sounds like byron jones is headed to free agency, as expected. . .

The Cowboys appear resigned to the fact they won’t be able to keep him.

“Byron is a guy we think a lot of,” Stephen Jones said. “He’s had a great run at corner. He’s played really well, played at a high level. That’s the hard thing when you have quite a few good players on your football team is you get challenges. Byron understands that. But at the same time, he’s worried about Byron, as he should be. Certainly, we’ll visit with his guys while we’re here. Kinda see their direction, what they’re thinking. And we’ll have to keep moving.”

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Sounds like were going to be big players in FA on the defensive side of the ball. I expect CB, LB and DL to be addressed here.....
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

Just get us a few proven guys to help Lock grow. Albeit I do see the wisdom in letting the young offensive players grow with Lock via mostly drafting offense. I get it.

Am I the only one who think Jordan Ta' amu may be worth a flier as a backup? I get it. It's the XFL. But he played SEC ball and looks solid right now. Plus...it'd be as a backup. Low risk.

There are always guards available in FA. Always. Drafting one high is so stupid.

All-star QB leaves and team misses the playoffs, is bad, has one pass rusher on the team, is pretty bad against the pass on defense, but has an all-star guard.

You tell me what's wrong with that picture? Shit it's easier to find a good guard in the NFL than it is WR, yikes.
