Personally, I’d go into the off-season preparing to draft a LT in round one, it’s fairly deep and I’d prefer a long term solution to a long term issue.

Rams signed Whitworth because they didn’t have a 1st round pick to get their LT, it worked for a few years but now it seems that window closed before they capitalize.

No doubt (I meant his window) but that’s the route we’re talking about with Castonzo.

I want to draft a high LT. Trade up with a desperate rebuilding team and give up and a 3rd or 2 3rd. I want an immediate impact and not a project guy.

We can’t afford to ditch James so he is stuck at RT but we need to make sure we have depth behind him.

The dark horse FA tackle that I am interested is Jack Conklin from Tenn. Yes he has played as RT for last 4 years but was premier LT in college. Knows the wide zone office and is good pass protector.

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

we need to go after WR Robby Anderson, and CB Byron Jones or CB James Bradberry. I also would consider Dennard on a cheap 2 year deal cause of his injury history, but when healthy he is very strong in the slot. Re-sign one of Wolfe or Shelby(maybe whoever is most cost effective), Re-sign Simmons, McGovern and Parks and make sure Purcell and Patrick stick around.....if we can make that happen with 70 mil in cap space. probably going to take around 45-48 mil in payroll to make this happen then about 12-15 goes to draft picks, leaves us with about 10 mil in extra for injuries. I think its worth it if we have a strong draft as well and the contracts are fair for both sides....

    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

Man the FA class is really sad at Center. McGovern is the only solid one on there, you could make a case for Karras, but he has the whole blood clot issue.....

Also any interest in Demarcus robinson or Keelan cole as a speed guy for us? Perriman could be a another cost effective option but incosistency and injury history scare me.....We do need to stop getting FA's that cant suit up after we sign them lol....

I feel like we are going to be priced out of the good WR option in Anderson, and hopefully we can bring McGovern back.....WR has to be addressed somehow and not just with some 4th or 5th rd guy......

I just read that teams can use both the Franchise Tag and Transition Tag this off-season because there’s no CBA.

Agreeed, that’s what I was thinking. Tag Simmons and make him play on it for the entire season. I’m not against letting him walk either.

I'm also not so sure I want to pay 15 mil per year to Simmons. If I am the GM I'm tagging him or Looking at other options perhaps....I think if we dont transition tag McGovern he is gone rumors are circulating he is going to be looking at 12 mil per year as the top FA center because the FA class is so weak. I'm transition tagging him and calling it a day and drafting Biadasz or Harris at Center lol. However buzz is circulating that Biadasz could end up in the top 20-25 picks.....Could we see another trade back this year......
