I’ve seen too many Jarvis Moss’s and Tim Crowder’s to ever want to trade a player like Von Miller. Plenty of cap space to let him play out his deal and go from there.

Elway should go to Von like he did PFM and discuss a restructure

Get Von to sell it so that he comes across as a team first guy who is chasing another championship

Then elway should offer Wolfe and Harris two year inventive laden deals

    Pay Simmons big

    Lock down Shelby Harris ASAP

Give AJ Johnson an extension now before we can’t afford him

And get this done before free agency, oh, and also cut flacco

I think they like Yiadum and I think they’re devaluing CB’s.

    Otherwise I’m a whore for CB’s.

You had me until Flacco, and the Von thing ... actually the moment is gone.

Harris is the only good CB we have. The corner opposite of him was constantly Victimized. He needs to be retained but not paid like a 25 yr old FA. Dude is 30 and needs to be paid like it. Simmons and Shelby Harris need to stay. Love me some Wolfe to stay as well. Rest can walk. Wolfe had a breakout year at 30 in this system.

We can save $10m by cutting Flacco with $13m is dead , $8.5m by cutting Leary and $875k dead, $5m cutting Todd Davis and $1m dead. This is a saving of $23.5m on top of $49m cap space.

Franchise tag for Simmons is $12.7m. Give C. Harris a team friendly with high incentives roll Flacco money into him and maybe get him for $10 plus incentives. Offer McGovern like $6m and Wolfe for $5m Purcell can receive a tender to save him. Still saves plenty of cap space. I think Wolfe would take a pay cut to stay since he has had injury issues. McGovern might chase money which C money $9m is top 10 for C and $10m is top 10 at G.

I wouldn't mind us signing 2 of the following 3 OL and drafting another.

    Anthony Castonzo...LT...Indianapolis
Grades as a top 10 OL and top 5 OT in both run and pass blocking. Has stayed healthy and at age 31, still not old. Signing a LT with 1 penalty this year would allow us to move Bolles or let him go.

    Jack Conklin...RT...Tennessee
Has had some injury concerns, but has come back strong.
Very important piece of their run game as they run most effectively to his side . Gonna cost 10-12 million per. I love James since he's a Vol, but just not reliable.

    Joe Thuney...G...New England
Stud interior blocker. I believe he is 27 years old and has been great for NE. Has even played some OT when needed. NE has already paid their LG and C the last 2 years. Can they spend that much $ on the interior OL? I hope not.

Scherff is too much of an injury risk. Of the 3 listed, I'd skip Conklin and hope to draft Wirfs or my favorite Bama lineman. This adds crazy draft flexibility if we complete an OL overhaul by end of night 1 of the draft.

I think Sherff gets Tag, Conklin is very intriguing.

Castanazo from Indy is a real good selection. I know Brother Jaded has disagreed with me in the past about him, but it is true. I would love to sign him and lock up LT for at least 3 seasons.
