Jason Peters will test free agency. He's 38. I think it's worth kicking the tires and working him out. OT's can age well, and maybe he'd be open to being a spotstarter/rotational guy? Maybe he can still be a starter, and that at least clarifies the position a bit. Bolles as a backup LT isn't the worst thing ever. Or maybe it means we can just draft an OT and have that rookie be the backup? Does it open options for us? Am I way out on left field? Is Jaded a Taylor Swift fan? More, at 11.

He's also a great leader and does bison training in the offseason. That's hard training that bison training is.

Texans defensive tackle D.J. Reader‘s name has already surfaced as a player who is likely to have interest from multiple teams, and the Houston Chronicle reports that Reader is not expected to be back in Houston.

It’s not that the Texans don’t want Reader back, but they expect some other team to offer more than they’re willing to spend, perhaps a contract in the neighborhood of $12 million a year. The Broncos, Titans and Bills are all believed to have interest.
    https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...gn-d-j-reader/

really, 12 million for a nosetackle? oh HELL f***ing no! screw that noise. . . purcell is fine. . . for the amount of snaps that guy is gonna play, paying that much makes no sense. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Calais Campbell is probably going to be a cap casualty while still being a bad, bad man.

That's the type of player I want us to invest on. Reliable, top shelf talent and production, and can play for a few more years.
