I bought some more vinyl! This should do it for a while...although I still feel like I need to order some horror scores and some black metal to round it out a little better--those two in particular are super hard to find.

    Ambient:
Eno - Ambient 1: Music for Airports

    Long-form/indie:
Dead Can Dance - Within the Realm of a Dying Sun
Godspeed You Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas...

    Horror:
Halloween III - Season of the Witch

    Folk/Country:
    Son Volt - Trace

    Rock/Punk:
    Operation Ivy - Energy
Thee Oh Sees - Live in San Francisco
The Besnard Lakes - A Coliseum Complex Museum

    Metal:
    Ulver - Bergtatt

    60's/70's type stuff:
    The Pentangle - s/t
Herb Alpert & the TJ Brass - Whipped Cream & Other Delights
Percy Faith & His Orchestra - Younger than Springtime
    David Bromberg - Best of

    Classical:
    Rubinstein - Schubert D960
The Fine Arts Quartet - Schubert's quartet in D min "Death and the Maiden"
    Pollini - Chopin: 24 Preludes

    Well. I guess I wasn't quite done.

    Got the turntable on Amazon.

Found the Waxworks and Mondo websites--they are the one pressing reissued scores like Hellraiser and so on. I figure I have to get them before the limited runs are sold out. Some of them just don't get cheaper...and actually get crazy expensive after the limited pressing. Like all the Miyazaki soundtracks. Crazy expensive now. And Phantasm. And etc., etc....

Weird little economy. Oh well. A fool and his money, that's me!

    So I picked up these:

    Twin Peaks - Original Score
    Southbound - OST
    Hellraiser - OST
    Alien - OST
    Starry Eyes - OST
    The Lighthouse - OST

I need to hit the pause button on this shit now.

Here's my vinyl collection as it stands.

I have a temporary solution to the housing crisis that vinyl has brought into my life. Inquiries are welcome.

    Also, I bought more vinyl.

Soon I will buy the album on my list that is associated with this quote: "It was about a dog watching his master beat his wife and then questioning himself - should he be loyal to the man or rip his head off?"

Remove Amy winehouse and Michael j - and those are some pretty solid lists (If I was being picky I would also remove GOTG, Lana del Rey and miles davis but I don’t despise them with the same venom I do the first two)

The Miles Davis album is great though. And I usually hate jazz!

I don’t even disagree, but I just think the top ten is above its reach
