Default Peyton Manning's all-time TD record is likely to be broken soon.

Drew Brees and Tom Brady are racing to break Peyton Manning's all-time TD record and it could happen this week.

Peyton Manning held his touchdown record for 4 years. Peyton Manning is the NFL's all-time leader in touchdown passes with 539, but Brees is right behind him with 537, and Brady is just one back of Brees at 536.

I am rooting for Drew Brees because I want him to break Manning's record. Not Tom Brady. I would feel good if Brees do it first. Unfortunately, Patriots vs. Bengals game will start earlier on Sunday. Saints's game will be on Monday Night. I hope Bengals will find a way to block Brady's touchdown passes. Go Brees!

Only four players in NFL history have thrown more than 500 touchdown passes.

    Peyton Manning:539

    Drew Brees: 537

    Tom Brady: 536

    Brett Favre: 508

Brees will pass him for sure and probably Brady. If anything Brady will want to break that record because i guarantee he wants to just for the hell of it.

If Peyton didn't have that neck issue his numbers would be well ahead. It saddens me.

The worst record loss was Elway losing his title as the winningest QB of all time.

I like Drew Brees but is he a little over-rated?

His road record is 73-62. Good. Not great. So obviously he benefits from playing in a home dome and struggles when he goes on the road.

I wonder how many of those L's came from the Saints teams with historically bad defenses/the early SD record? I know the splits still favor him a lot more at home than on the road, statistically.

Thom has benefited from cheating in every game he has played.

I was wondering about that. Now his 0-0 record when not cheating makes more sense.

But if we are going to knock Brees for his road record...consider:

    Thom at home: .857
    on road: .683

    Delta: .174

Brees's Delta between home and road: .094

I'd say Foxborough's Area-51 suite of electronic countermeasures, KGB-esque surveillance techniques, and pressure-adjusting cadre of goons is the greater boon to a QB.

Everyone has their own opinions of course. But because to u Brady can walk on water for frickin cheating and one of the best all time QBs is overrated to you tells me all i need to know.

Brees is sickly talented but hes showing his age.

Dont worry. People will say that about Tom too.
