Best thing to do is trade down (with Jagoffs) in this draft and see what you got in Lock/prepare for the loaded QB of 2021.

The kid passes the eye test for sure from a talent standpoint and leadership standpoint. Been a fan even before we drafted him. He was quiet when he needed to be then showed the leadership we need from the position when he became the guy. He was composed before during and after the game, and the moment wasn't to big for him, its a good first step, and hopefully we open the playbook a bit and give him all the reps this week....good things are headed our way I think.
I def want OT, CB or DL in rd. 1 now.....I think we are fine at QB going into next year with Lock....
Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

1. With what money
Too early to tell. Lynch looked ok in his first start, so did our backup. Liked what I saw, but the real test is when defenses have enough tape to gameplan against his strengths/weaknesses.
Agree but also disagree. Some of the passes and decision making i have seen from Lock vastly outweighs anything that lynch or Allen did, especially on the run. Still a lot of time left and you are right about game film but even just based off the one start Lock looks worlds beyond Paxton who always seemed confused, indecisive, and looking to run. IMO
I gotta pump the brakes a little guys. He looked good for a first ever start, especially after missing a bunch of practice due to the IR/injury issue.
But he averaged 4.79 yards per attempt. . ..
Flacco averaged 7.0 yards/attempt ranking him somewhere around #22 in the league. Below average.
Brandon Allen averaged 6.13 in his three starts. . . Worse than Flacco.
Less than 5 yards per attempt isn't going to get us anywhere. He's going to have to do a lot better than that, and has a lot of room for improvement. I'm not saying he can't do it, but he's got a lot of work to do.
Im just asking because I do not know.
How did drew compare to flacco for points? Obviously we have like 7 flacco games and 1 drew so that needs to be considered but I am curious as to where he stands.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
All that matters is that he flashed ability and talent. That's all you can ask out of most rookie QB's. What would his average had been if Hamilton doesn't drop that ball and goes down the field, probably for a 20 yard TD? It's speculative, I get it. What would his YPA have been had there not been PI against Sutton on that last throw? Sutton probably catches that ball. Speculative again, but I'm just saying.
