Anyway, I'll take the L on this one.
I had a buddy who’d get racked 3-4 times a game, literally every game.

It will be interesting to see who Elway keeps and who he lets go. Supposedly there isn't supposed to be that much interest in Wolfe as a FA because of his age and injury history, aggravated by his recent injury, and then there's the fact he wants to remain a Bronco.

Personally, I'd be surprised if he's not back, but that's just my feeling -- I don't have any evidence to prove it.

Justin Simmons is expected to get huge offers -- in line with what top S's get which is about $14m a year. I have no idea if Elway retains him, but if not then the secondary -- which has been shaky at times and desperately needs upgrades already will get a lot worse.

Chris Harris should have been re-signed last year, but he's wanted top $ and as always Elway refuses to re-do deals a year early -- he always prefers to "see what the market will be" BEFORE he makes a move. It's infuriating to see this blow up in his face again and again -- just as it did with Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan.

The #2 CB position has been a big problem since they let Aqib Talib go and moved Harris to #1. Teams have been going after Isaac Yiadom like he's the only hot girl at the school dance and the others aren't much better. So, if Harris walks the CB situation goes from shaky to disastrous. The guy they brought in -- Bryce Callahan never played at all due to injury and wasn't particularly great before that. He's no Chris Harris.

Simmons will probably get the franchise tag if they can't work out a deal. None of the other pending free agents would really make sense to tag.

    1. Very few CBs are Chris Harris. In fact, only 4 others in the NFL are.
    2. Bryce Callahan was very very good. Correction- IS Very Very good!
    3. Bausby has been real good for us before he went on IR
    4. yaidom has been so bad he hadnt hardly played until Bausby went on IR
    5. Harris has been very good for us. The guy the Bengals cut.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Yiadum sucks, see if VJ in Arizona will take him off your hands.

At this point, gotta take what you can get. In a year this bad, yes, it's worth getting excited over, it's all there is.

Even clady was only good for a period of time and then a part of the ongoing problem due to injury. All the talent in the world, but not reliable at all.

I'm glad we are finally getting to the bottom of Kneegate. This is important stuff.

Not @ you Carol, at media and fan demands generally.

I want to believe he didn't get overruled.

But it's hard to buy it.

But I'm not about this drama. I'm about the QBotF, baaaaaaaaaaaaby.

Yeah but, other than Clady, I’ve been waiting my entire life for a LT.

It's hard to buy that the OC would consult the HC about strategy before making a call?
