Most of us want a OT for sure in rd 1. or 2.....after that the talent falls off then your hoping for some miracle out of some raw prospect from the later rds. we cant do that. What I don't want to do though is panic when Thomas or Jackson are off the board and reach for one of the other guys if it doesn't line up....trade back 5-8 spots or even later grab a extra pick or 2 and make it more palpable....plenty of good OT prospects outside the top 3 at the moment.

I think John gets it, and I think they also realize not only do they need a backup plan for Bolles or at least a challenger there, they cant really count on James either....So a top OT prospect is a must for this team, unless they somehow create magic and trade Flacco and Bolles for Trent Williams….(you listening john???)

we can get capable vet #2 WR in FA. . . draft for the lines and the secondary. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

The only WR that should be thought about, imo, is Ceedee Lamb. But FA is where we should look for WR, I agree.

Since we have the most cap space in years, get an experienced corner. One without medical issues.

We have 3 3rd rd picks. Id be in favor of burning one of them for another 2nd. I think we can get us a raegor or lamb early 2nd. Along with an OT.

    For me, for now:

    1. DB
    2a. WR
    2b. OT
    3a. DL
    3b. DL/OL
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

so you're gonna trade a three for a two, straight up? brilliant strategy, we should do that every year!

You think that's great? I'm about to trade a seventh rounder for a first rounder.

Lamb is the 2nd rated WR behind Jeudy right now....unsure if he makes it to rd 2. in fact some mocks now are projecting we take lamb at 10-12 range....unsure how I feel about that.....

I'm in line with this dog, but there is a good chance Wirfs is our closest option at OT where we pick and that's a reach at 10-12 range depending on who you talk to, as Jackson and Thomas are good bets to be gone even before pick ten. I would agree with the secondary though..so Diggs, and Delpit should be in play for us. With that being said we need to trade back to make the OL pick work from a value perspective, or take BPA.....I'm not a huge fan of WR in rd 1. especially with our track record, but we have to go BPA if we aren't trading back. You can make a case for Murray at ILB in th 10-12 range and also Simmons could be in play if we belive he can play LB in the 3-4. I belive he is suited for a WLB role in the 4-3 but he is a beast prospect regardless as well

We may have to go this route if Chris leaves but digs in the draft would be a good selection.....The FA class isn't that deep. Marcus Peters, Byron Jones and James Bradberry are probably your top 3, but I doubt Peters makes it out of Baltimore and Jones out of Dallas. Then again Money talks......

Its way to early, but if I had to guess today what the top 10 would be it would go like this:

    1. QB Joe Burrow- Cincy
    2. OLB/DE Chase Young- Giants
    3. QB Justin Herbert- Miami
    4. OT Andrew Thomas- Washington
    5. DL Derrick Brown-Detroit
    6. CB Jeff Okudah- Arizona
    7. WR Jerry Jeudy- Jets
    8. LB/S Isaiah Simmons -Jacksonville
    9. OT Austin Jackson- LA Chargers
    10. LB Murray, or CB Diggs or S Delpit or WR Lamb.....Denver
    11. Tua- Carolina
    12. Yater Moss- Atlanta

Also OT, and CB aren't that great in FA so we have to come out with a OT and CB in the first 2 rds.....I'm pretty sure we wont re-sign Harris if his financial demands are the same as prior to this season.....

Nonsense poopey pants. We made a similar trade just last year. So yes, in line with your post of every year, this would be 2 in a row.

I keep seeing the Redskins as the destination for the tackle we all want. What is the status of the stud LT they already have and would he be in play for Denver via a trade or in FA?
