It was awesome, again dude is elite talent, but he has ben banged up all year and missed a couple games last year, Hence my concern with injuries. We will however need another WR next year to take double team pressure off Sutton, if we stay in the top 10 though we would be stupid to bypass CB, OT DL and maybe even QB if needed...
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft

    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

Yea, we will need another WR but that isnt a priority next year or shouldnt be.

I thought Patrick has shown flashes of very good play. I personally think we're pretty good at WR - too many other needs.

I actually believe it is a priority for our offense just not in the top 10 picks....I would actually like to go after a solid number 2 in FA.....Hamilton is Cleary in some doghouse, Patrick is overrated but can be as solid back up to courtland, Not sure why Winfree cant see the field, and Spencer is just a Meh gadget WR....

    His durability is a concern.

I say they need another starter but it’s not high on the list of priorities to be taken in the 1 to 3 rounds.

    Pound away at OL.

Yeah I think we need another WR in FA, and then with Patrick....and then hopefully a lightbulb clicks for Hamilton or Winfree...Question is are there any Number 2 WR's worth going after in FA like when we got Sanders in FA.....

best offensive player available should be the goal. Which hopefully stops elway from trying to play guessing games with O Tackles.

All offense must be priority. Even QB should Lock not flash. They dont need another pass rusher.

I'm a huge fan of BPA. However, if the BPA is a defensive guy...that's pretty rough.

you go with BPA at a position if need, if its not there you go BPA period....you never reach for a player because you need it....that's how we ended up where we are by reaching for guys like Bolles, and Lynch. We didn't reach last year and ended up with Fant, Lock, Risner and Dre'Mont Jones.....a very good draft to start.....its one thing if your 4th rd and later picks don't pan out but you better damn well hit on you first 3rds in some capacity or you end up talent deficient like we have.

We are setup right now to fill CB, DL or OT with a top ten pick.....and you can never have to many pass rushers or QB talent.....I'm not a Herbert Fan and Tua has to have a good medical to stay top 5-10 and as a result early rumblings are that Burrow could go to and be the first QB off the board way higher then he should.....Most scouts right now think Burrow is a bit better version of Derek Carr.

We would be absolutely stupid not to take Okudah, Brown or Thomas if we can....Wolfe and Gotsis are gone, leaving Purcell, Harris, Jones and Walker for the DL, while solid to ignore what a guy like Brown could bring to the DL would be idiotic. Harris is most likely on his way out so getting the top CB in the draft would be a good consolation.....

Our OT position is also a mess so to not figure out how to get a Thomas, Jackson or wirfs is also dumb. We need to either find a way to obtain Trent Williams at decent cost and still draft a OT in rds. 1 or 2 or we damn well better be getting a couple OT's this draft which is shaping up nicely.....I expect Wilkinson to replace Leary at Guard which I'm fine with, but we have to do something about OT and depth in a big way.....

This offense needs an infusion of talent. Especially the offensive line. If we got BPA and take defense, I guess I'd understand, but yikes.
