    Default Favorite flicks

I love movies. I was thinking today about Joker and if it had already made my favorite flicks list, and I think it has. So then I started thinking what that list would entail and here it is in no particular order

    The Big Lebowski
    Fargo
    O'Brother Where Art Thou
    No Country for Old Men
    Pulp Fiction
    Jaws
    True Romance
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
    The Life of Pi
    Joker
    Hell or High Water
    Reservoir Dogs

So a lot of Coen Bros. and some Tarantino.

    What is your list?

So movies I consider could be "the" greats, that are my favorites:
    Casablanca, Godfather, Gladiator, Shawshank Redemption

    My favorites:
    Comedy
Major League, Caddyshack, Van Wilder, Mallrats, Clerks, Chasing Amy, Office Space, Super Troopers, Road Trip, Ocean's Eleven.

    Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror
The Exorcist, Jaws, Star Wars series (in particular, gun to my head, Return of the Jedi; with A New Hope and Rogue One after that), Lord of the Rings (Return of the King), Harry Potter Series (Half-Blood Prince), Bram Stoker's Dracula, Blade, Back To The Future series (Original being the best).

    Drama
Casablanca, Godfather, Gladiator, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, 8-Mile, Kingdom of Heaven.

I'm know there are more, but there's my starter plate...
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

LotR is the best movie trilogy in existence.

Godfather I and II are arguably two top five movies ever.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is good stuff. I haven't seen Road to Perdition in a long, long time, but it was excellent

The fact that A Fish Called Wanda appears nowhere on this page is a crime tantamount to human trafficking.
