Default The Crow: 25 years later

Still one of my alltime favorite movies (the other being Brotherhood of the Wolf) and one of the very few that i watched in theaters at least 3 times upon its initial release. This article really captures everything that i ever felt about the film and the late actor Brandon Lee who's father was the legendary Bruce Lee. This is a good read, not only about the film but the amazing soundtrack that came with it.

The soundtrack remains in regular rotation on my music playlists to this day. One of the most 90's movies ever from the look, feel, and sound but in all the most awesome ways! When this movie comes up, my mind always flashes to this scene:

    Victims arent we all?

I may be one of the few who own both soundtracks to this. One by the bands mentioned in the article and then the other by Graeme Revell which is also superb.

Great film. Sequels sucked but original is still excellent

Best movie soundtrack of all time IMO.

I remember getting goosebumps as "burn" stars when he punches the mirror....

Honestly, it probably doesn't hold up well watching it for the first time as an adult.

Without the nostalgia factor, it's just sort of a darkish, above average action flick based on a comic with a great soundtrack.

But the soundtrack totally holds up.

Check it out, fantastic movie. I dont know how old Nynja was when he saw it but i was about 23 so it resonated with me pretty hard. Lee is brilliant and the story is great.

I did have a bit of a fubar moment though, i bought the VHS a couple of months before its actual release by ordering it through a book store i worked at. I thought for sure it wasnt going to be released because of the death of Lee so i bought it for like $80.00 only then discovering it was still going to be released to the public. So i have a 80 dollar VHS of it among the special edition DVD i have. Lol

    Great movie. Great soundtrack.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
