    Default And So it Begins

Sounds like Harris is ready to get out of dodge.

“I ain’t saying nothing. Thirteen more weeks for me,” cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said, as he walked toward the locker room exit after another heartbreaking defeat for a proud franchise that has forgotten how to win

We should really try to get what we can for him before the deadline. This year is lost and we'd lose him for nothing this off-season.

You have to weigh the market vs a potential 3rd round compensatory pick. On the negative side can you imagine how poorly our back end will look without him and with inconsistent pressure?

Do we not have the right pieces or do we have bad coaching?

I find it hard to believe we’ve regressed this much in only a few months.

We also have a cancerous culture if your read between the lines about the LR vibe.....That falls on the so called captains and vets who are letting that shit slide.....

I love Chris but he got burnt a few times yesterday and was always looking for a flag or openly throwing a fit. I think the vets on this team are frustrated and with good reason, but its also a reminder of the talent vacuum that is on this team and how we just need to get younger and blow it up. I think most of us were thinking 6-10 to 8-8 this year but that was with the assumption that our defense would be our strength and the offense would do just enough to give us a chance. Twice at home now that exact scenario played out and frankly the Defense let us down.

That may all start with the front office and Elway putting together this team, but it is what it is right now. If we are still in this position once Lock is healthy with 0-2 wins, time to get young and use the rest of the season to see what we have and make the best pick we can in the top 5. Probably should've just admitted the rebuild after Manning left and not try to get cute with Brock which seemed to be the beginning of the end because they assumed we had our QB locked up until he wasn't. Its been a shit-show since then.

I don't want change for change sake right now, but I do think we need to see what we have at a certain point at the very least and start playing with house money and have fun. Seeing CHJ, Von, and Wolfe mope around sucks. At least Chubb dances and points when the other team gets false starts. ENTERTAIN ME!

This. We have a better, more talented roster than last year (except at ILB - they are the league’s worst). Everything that’s happening right now is 100% coaching and play calling. I actually think there are folks on this board who could draw up a better game plan and make better calls (time management, when to challenge a play, when to go for it on 4th down, etc) than the current staff. We really don’t play to our strengths on offense or defense.

I supported him when he wanted more money.

Now he can kick ******* rocks. I'll like him again after he leaves and some time passes.

This would have been an acceptable post if Gold wasn't horrible when be came back. Take a lap, you know you earned it.

Find it funny. This team is 1 score away from being a 3-1 while not playing anywhere close to level we expect. Ultimately this team has no wins but very easily 2-2 and if offense could score a TD 3-1 with Raiders game. Sway will not throw in the towel and will try to run the board which if broncos rolled over and just threw in the towel it would be miserable season.

I find it funny because were 0-4 it doesn't matter what we could be, your are what your record says you are....Players are already throwing in the towel....postgame comments and the LR the last 4 years shows that this team crumbles under adversity.....
