Yeah, fighting Commies, weirdos with foreign accents, and mad scientists. They did a reboot in the 90's but Jonny had acquired a sister and it sucked

I loved the old Hannah Barbara cartoons. It struck me the other day as my son took his Flinstone vitamin that he has never SEEN an episode of the damn show. Will have to fix that soon.

Speaking of TV themes, by weird accident you can sing "Amazing Grace" to the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme and you can sing the Gilligan's Island theme to the tune of "Amazing Grace".

The "All in the Family" theme had an extra verse that was not in the tv intro but was on the comedy album:
Edith: People used to seem content....Fifty dollars paid the rent
Archie: Freaks were in a circus tent
    Both: Those were the days!
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

    Shake, how about these?

I wonder if Scarlett has anything to do with my love of redheads.

I used to get really jazzed when Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, or Starblazers came on.

North I've never even heard of BOTP but it would have been just like that.

Then there was this, from my early 1960's youth

The production values and animation are horrifyingly bad. Downright creepy. I could never understand why my Mom hated this show so much , esp. as she was a pretty good amateur artist. I think the art work actually offended her. There is nothing near as awful these days - and this was before the Hippie drug epidemic, too!
