It just irked me. The girl was writing chart-topping music at FIFTEEN and she's a skank because some middle aged guy doesn't like her electronic noises and floppy clothes.

Meh, noting to get irked about. Like most things music is subjective, while his choice of words was probably poor it doesnt mean she's "awesome" just because she makes chart topping music. Personally, i think a lot of mainstream music is boring and stupid as shit but again, just an opinion.

There's definitely a difference between not liking someone's music and calling the singer (who is a child, mind you) a "talentless skank".
