Eh, I'm not going to hold something that happened 30 years ago against the 49ers as an organization. This team doesn't even resemble that team. I can't hold a grudge against every team that ever beat the Broncos.
As a Bronco fan, though, hatred of teams like the Chiefs and Raiders should be in your blood. I don't care what players are on those teams, they are the enemy. I even rooted for the Patriots in the AFCCG last year (and felt dirty doing so). F the Chiefs. I hope I never see them win a Super Bowl. There's only one chance left to stop them and I'll be damned if I'm rooting against the Niners because of some game that happened when I was ten years old.

I am rooting for Ben Garland, AFA grad and center of the O-line that just demolished GB. Also Kyle Shanahan, son of Broncos legend Mike. And also John Lynch, guy who played some safety for the Broncos and seems like an ok dude.

Niners because of the young genius HC, the handsome starting QB spurned by NE, and it'd be nice to see ES get another ring.
But if KC wins that's fine, too. Andy Reid is a HoF coach and I don't want him to retire without his SB ring. If he happened to win it some time after his KC tenure ends, even better. Mahome deserves a ring. If Mahomes becomes the next generational QB we can put to bed all this stupid Brady love (he's a cheater, too) and at least the face of the franchise is someone who is legitimate.

This is the first Super Bowl in a while where I really don't care who wins. I'll probably end up rooting for SF, but I'm not going to be devestated if KC wins either. I know I'm supposed to hate them, but Mahomes and Reid are just so hard to root against. If that costs me my fan card so be it.
