The fact that this thread is getting so much action is a testament to the desperation regarding this football team.

I'll take AB on the team. And Kaep. It won't ever happen, but anything to make me feel again.

Ready for a spicy take? Kap will be a Chief if Mahomes is out for an extended period of time.

Im pretty sure it wouldnt help one bit. And Kaep should never even been an option, he wasnt that good then, why
    would he be now?

Wouldn't help what? Need to be clear about that. Define a goal before you determine if the course of action will help or hurt.

If the goal is winning football games... I'm not sure I disagree with you.

If the goal is lashing out in emo rage.... It's a clear winner of a strategy.

Doubtful. But I guess that's the point of a hot take, very rarely true or believable.

It's full troll. You know as well as anyone that AB wouldn't even wind up on the field. At all. It would be a waste of time and money to pursue such a moronic endeavor.

This isn't even about boy scouts vs team captains. I'll take a team of at least half Talibs and half boy scouts, no issues at all. But the players need to care about their teammates, not necessarily the organization.

Guys that are 100% about themselves will not contribute.

AB is no longer a guy that fights for his teammates.

He would not contribute here this year, maybe not any year.

I agree it's not a high probability, but it's probably his best chance in a while to get a job. Clark Hunt has publicly said he'd have no issue signing him, and Kap's college coach, Chris Ault, was recently a consultant for KC under Reid, so there's a connection there.

If any coach could get the most out of him, it would be Reid.

It would be his best shot, I agree with that. However, at this point in the season I think it would take more to get him up to speed than it would be to just go with Matt Moore. If he is out 4 games you might split with Moore, maybe you split with Kap, so what's the gain?

If it's the rest of the season it's a lost year, no matter who else is under center, so no point in it then either.

Had this happened week 1? Much better chance.

I agree if it's just a 2-4 week injury they ride it out with Moore, and if it's season ending they just punt on the year. Kap's best shot is if Mahomes is going to be out like two months but will be back for the playoffs. Then they might look to take a gamble on a guy like Kap to keep them afloat.

Given the connection to Kap's college coach I'd imagine he'd be able to pick up KC's system more quickly than he could on other teams.

Did the same People suggest Broncos should trade for Cam Newton too?

I mean, this board acted like Case Keenum was a solid FA pickup, and defended TS, so anyone who did either of those things better not talk shit about Kaep.

His body is breaking down. I'd avoid him. Then again, after thinking Flacco was solid up until last night, I'm more open to anything than Wave at a Euro Disco.
