Anger management would be a good first step for Brown.

Carolina makes a ton of sense to me. They need a No. 1 to take some pressure off McCaffrey.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Assume he's not going to go insane again (big assumption) and you're a team with a great QB and the upside of the signing on paper is there. Don't WR's and QB's take awhile to build chemistry? Can you trust him to learn the playbook/scheme/terminology/whatever else I'm forgetting quickly or quick enough?

There's a lot that goes into this even before you factor in that he's clearly not right upstairs.

Then again, for a cheap contract, knowing that you can just say "we'll cut you the first sign of trouble," and you're a stable organization, maybe it is.

    TL;DR WTF AB!?!?!?

That makes sense from a personnel standpoint...you think Rivera would go for it? We know Reid, BB, and Pete have gone down this road.

Ab would get frustrated with the inaccurate throws coming from Newton. That actually would be a joy to watch. As long as he doesnt end up in KC i dont care where he goes.

I think NFL teams care less about this behavioral stuff than we think.

I think any team that gambles on him deserves what they get. I wouldn't take him here if he played for free.

somewhere, mike tomlin got a grin as wide as all outside. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
