    Thank you all. Been a crazy year dealing with my now 87 year old mother and her brain injury related stuff. Hopefully this year will be better.

    She had an aneurysm burst in her brain behind her left eye. Early results were similar to a moderate Alzheimer patient. Now 6 years into it more like advanced Alzheimer patient. All this fun after 4 years of misc general aging stuff like car accident (broken ribs/messed up knee), broken hip. Part of why I don't participate much here the past few years. Read a lot but little interaction.
