it's a little odd to me. Trinity is dead and Neo next to dead?

It's the matrix so I guess anything goes.

I don't recall much of Reloaded or Revolutions, but it was implied in the story that Neo was basically part of a cycle of Neo's that were fighting over and over again. The "anomaly" was supposed to be him fighting Agent Smith in Revolutions who was essentially the God of the Matrix and then sacrificing himself to end it. Not sure how they are going to reboot this, but I imagine they can pull something out of their butt like in the first scene Neo and/or Trinity wake up with a gasp with the camera closeup on their faces. Turns out the Matrix they were in was just the beginning of the REAL MATRIX!

Nothing will change that the first one is a cinema classic, so if they can find a way to continue the story without making it dumb I will check it out. They had some great ideas in Reloaded and Revolutions, they just couldn't execute them right.

If the Wachowski Bros. can be women now and when they made The Matrix they were men, anything is possible.

They never really had a big hit after the Matrix trilogy. The only movie I can think of I really liked was Speed Racer but that one flopped at the box office.

WTF? I am shocked. I had no idea.

As to Matrix 4, I suppose NEO was a form of a Christ, and as such I suppose there could be a resurrection of sorts to continue on the saga.

However, in retrospect, I thought they should have just left well enough alone and left The Matrix on its own. The sequels did nothing to really build significantly on the original try as they might (outside of some special effects/filming ideas). Therefore, I'm skeptical that this will be worthwhile.

The Highway chase in Reloaded was impressive as hell. They built that whole highway for the movie in a loop and you can still see it in California. Mythbusters used it a few times.

Yes, that was awesome. One of the best car-chases ever imo.

The original is top 25 all time. I'm curious, but sceptical.
