Default Broncos Gameday Thread: Broncos vs 49ers 08/19/19

What will we overreact to in this game? Will the starters play more than 2 series? Will Lock lock down the #2 job, or will Hogan hulk up after last week's performance? Will you even watch?

    Go Backups! Go Broncos!

    Go Broncos!

I'm looking forward too seeing the growth in our young guys. Also looking forward to seeing the starting offense after reading about all the chippy talking with the 9ers D.

Go Broncos! No injuries for either squad!

Yes I plan to watch the game and I'm looking forward to seeing more from Lock. I thought last week he had pretty good it's wasn't perfect by any stretch but it was tremendous improvement over the HoF game. Echoing Davii's sentiments I hope there are no injuries.

He def looked more comfortable in the 2nd game than the 1st. Improvements are all we could hope for.

Ill be at work most of the evening but will catch some of it and will be recording it. Saw that ex-Bronco Paxton Lynch got knocked the **** out yesterday and is in concussion protocol.

That hit was disgusting. I don't like Lynch, never did, but that hit, wow wtf. I feel so bad for Paxton. If you see that hit in replay it literally looks like his neck is cut off and moved to his back shoulder. Not sure how he even survived it without a broken neck.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Wonder if we'll see any of Noah Fant. It's been a bit discouraging to read reports he's been relatively unimpressive in camp.

Paxton has to slide quicker than that... but there's no excuse for that hit. Dude should be ejected, fined, whatever. That was some James Harrison level nonsense.

    Happy Gameday Broncos fans.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
