Maybe the 9ers should cut joe Staley because he got owned by chubb a bunch....or maybe, 1 single hold, isnt the end of the world.

Ps jason peters one of the best lts in the game had 1 less penalty than bolles last year.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

What irritated me was that they called Bolles (which was def a penalty), but then the next SF series, their LT had an arm around our DEs throat and it wasn't called.

    Royce Freeman - 5 rushes, 0 yards.

Lindsay - 5 for 14 for 2.8 ypc. Booker leaping off the stat sheet at 4 for 15 for a stunning 3.8 ypc ... doesn't get better from there.

I high fived this because it is true. I almost didn't because his holding penalties always seem to come at the least opportune moments...

I think Hogan is basically a career backup. I pretty much agree with this, albeit I'm going to keep pimping how good Lock looked last night!

Bolles led the league in holding in each of his first two seasons... He has not earned the benefit of the doubt that you're giving him.

This is a much more reasonable position than ur's "Bolles is fine" argument. Bolles is much closer to losing his job to an undrafted rookie than he is to being a serviceable NFL starter. Guy is terrible.

One more Bolles post and then I'll quit spamming the thread...

The guy totally lost me this offseason when he had the audacity to tweet that "The Broncos finally got me a left guard." when we drafted Risner.

Like, 1.) Even if Bolles were an all-pro, you don't throw your teammate Leary under the bus like that... 2.) You are a terrible left tackle who can't even play your own position - maybe don't worry about who is playing guard and certainly keep your ******* mouth shut on twitter until you've done a single thing in the NFL.

Wow. I was unaware of that Tweet. That is terrible.

Spot on. If we want to be a running team, as I said last week, we're going to have to do better. The 49ers consistently were falling forward for 3-4 yards every time. We rejoiced if we got back to the line of scrimmage. Sad state of affairs.

Anyway, those first two drives he was awesome. That’s Joe Staley he was schooling. Shelby Harris played alright, doesn’t get all that great of pressure, especially on running plays. This defense is definitely built for the passing NFL. It’s a badass defense, it just needs some help, but we’ve known that for awhile.

Flacco is a pro. That’s a nice change. Especially the no happy feet. Good passes early, liked that he stepped up and got the ball out on the third down. He makes NFL reads and throws, especially the one over the middle on the second drive. The offense has lacked that the past four seasons. The two red zone passes to end the first drive weren’t fantastic, behind the receiver and in to double coverage on the second. Eh, at least he’s a quarterback that gives me hope.

Great to see Sanders back at what looks like full speed. The end around was fun.

My early assessment, anyway. Just three drives of all the starters, but I feel better after seeing that than I did looking at it on paper.

At least we can all agree this defense has the potential to be dominately, and that Boles will be fine.

In the refs defense they suck in the regular season too.
