I'm just amazed that he is/was so oblivious as to send her those texts, let alone to include his attorney in on those texts! AB, instead of including your attorney, perhaps you should have discussed with your attorney whether to type and send those texts to her BEFORE you did.
I wasn't a fan of the signing when it first went down and I'm glad, but not surprised, the Pats cut him immediately after the news AB sent the texts broke.
I agree with the analysis of Will Cain and Trevor Matich that AB is the scorpion in the fable about the scorpion and the frog. Summary: Scorpion has to get across river, asks frog for ride, frog says no because scorpion will sting and kill him, scorpion says why would I do that because then I die too, half way across scorpion stings frog, as he's dying the frog says why did you do that now we both will die, scorpion says I'm a scorpion and that's what scorpions do - we sting things. AB just can't help or control himself - doing stupid, potentially career ending things is just what he does.
