I don't listen to Tool and will not listen to their new album, but my observation by looking at their wiki discography is how many 10 minute long songs does a band need.

Taylor Swift's new album is decent, and Lana Del Rey's album is great.

You're welcome for polluting the Tool thread.
Radiohead is always hit or miss with me when it comes to songs. To date Burn the Witch is probably my favorite tune from them as i never find myself loving an entire album. But Thom Yorke does have a knack for making great compositions for movie soundtracks. His work on the Suspiria reboot was excellent.

Him and Trent Reznor found their calling with movie scores strangely enough.

I remember In Rainbows coming out in my formative teenage years and all of the intrigue by the pay-as-you-what release format. Radiohead became one of the first real bands I attached myself too. That's probably a big reason why In Rainbows remains my favorite and one of the few I will still listen to.

I cleaned out my CD collection recently and In Rainbows, KOL, and Amensiac were the only Radiohead I kept.

Lol. I associate him more with Tim Burton movies than Oingo Boingo at this point!

And throw in Clint Mansell, originally of Pop Will Eat Itself, eventually did the soundtracks to Requiem for Dream and Black Swan

Eat the Elephant was just as tame as Fear.
