Six-time Pro Bowl WR Brandon Marshall is in Indianapolis today to work out for the Colts, per source.

Default Giants’ Cody Latimer isn’t the same receiver who was Broncos bust

Cody Latimer’s career didn’t start how he hoped it would.

His production in four seasons with the Broncos reflected the amount — or lack thereof — of effort he put into becoming an impactful wide receiver. The bright lights and loaded paychecks took away from Latimer’s focus on his game, leaving him so far behind he was actually kicked off the field a handful of times.

But Latimer said he feels lucky to have familiar faces, like fellow receiver Bennie Fowler and wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert, who stuck by him from his difficulties in Denver to his new hopes for success with the Giants. And in the midst of all the chaos from a wave of injuries and mishaps to the Giants’ first-string receivers — Sterling Shepard has a broken thumb, Golden Tate is suspended for the first four games and Corey Coleman is done for the year after tearing his ACL — Latimer is following the lead of his teammates.

Default Raiders' Jon Gruden: 'I think we're all disappointed' in Antonio Brown's continued absence from practice

Antonio Brown missed a considerable part of Pittsburgh's 2018 training camp with a mysterious, undisclosed injury. The same story is now playing out in Oakland.

Brown, arguably the NFL's best receiver who was traded from Pittsburgh to Oakland this offseason, missed his second consecutive practice on Friday. The Raiders have not provided a timetable for Brown's expected return after the receiver has missed several practices since Oakland opened training camp last week.

Not only was Brown a non-participant in practice, he was nowhere to be found, leaving head coach Jon Gruden to utter some disparaging comments after practice.

"I think we're all disappointed," Gruden said, per Lindsay Jones of The Athletic. "We want to get the party started."

He's one of the best players I've ever seen at that position. And he's totally insane. I wouldn't have minded if Denver (who was reportedly interested in him) picked him up since we're all in on this year...looks like I was wrong. I should have minded. Not our problem though.

I’ll still take A.B, they can’t all be Team Captains.

Oh wait, never mind, forgot about Deasean Hamilton. He’s a surefire, stone-cold lock.

Solid payday for a system QB.

Default Mike Freeman's 10-Point Stance: The Andrew Luck Guessing Game Begins Again

It's time to take a ride on the Andrew Luck injury roller-coaster again, the uneasy truce between Yannick Ngakoue and the Jaguars, and will any of the remaining holdouts end anytime soon? All that and more in this week's 10-Point Stance.

    1. The waiting game

This question has been asked before, and we now must ask it again: When will we see Colts quarterback Andrew Luck play?

Luck told NBC Sports' Peter King that he expects to play in the Colts' Week 1 game against the Chargers on Sept. 8.

But the rest of his quote should raise some red flags.

    That seems risky.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they handed it off a lot, trying to find their next back.
