    That’s fair though.

The worst QB’s in NFL history have all been asked to play in a traditional offense, if Lock can’t play he’ll be gone too.

if lock is a paxton starter kit, but with some guts and a pro work ethic, i can work with that. . .

he got blasted pretty good a few times last night, and i didn't see any tears, so that's a decent start. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Wow what the hell... There is no indication Hogan could have been anything near effective in reg season against real Defenses.

The fact that he’s not some loser, green screen dabbing butt pirate is enough for me...

Yeah, all our QB's were pretty bad last night, to different degrees. That game in general was about as fun as watching paint dry. Hopefully Scangarello is just playing possum as we say around here. Because if we're doing the ol' run/run/pass offense all year, it's going to be like the last four years all over again in a never ending cycle.

It was going to be a mess. A mish mash of players with generally minimal experience whove havent had enough time yet. Anyone expecting different? I'm thrilled they somehow WON THE GAME against an opponent that is unfamiliar. On the road. In Coach Fangios first game... and his first game on the sideline.

Now, if Flacco and all the 1s look bad... We'll see.

in fairness, coach skanks DID warn everyone in the paper that the offense was gonna suck. . .

I agree. One preseason, his very first isn't indicative of anything. I'm not inferring that meaning otherwise I just add that on.
