How the hell did Atlanta not carry 3 QBs for the game? Surely they could have just bought a warm body into camp so your backup QB isn't having to play in the 4th quarter of a preseason game.

This game showed a lot of what we saw at the stadium practice. Tons of balls on the ground, Fant and Lock not ready for prime time but both with a ton of potential, and very solid D.

Imagine getting pressure up the middle with Von and Chubb coming off the edge. Makes it hard for a QB to climb the pocket!

Most teams in the NFL are totally screwed if their starting QB goes down. Few have a guy like Nick Foles who can step in and be SB MVP and save their season.

As for Lock, he has 100 miles to go. We saw that tonight, but we knew that before he stepped on the field. Dude didn't play under center in college.

And we learned some dude named Dre'Mont Jones can play this game.

Lordy...I mean, surely you can see why some of us would like to see the best offensive weapon on the team on the field on crucial plays, no?

I just hope everyone whose job it is to supposedly “catch the ball” is forced to get intimately familiar with the jugs machine this week. All those drops were embarrassing and not a good sign for the offense.

Mo, you're acting like this is an all or nothing thing. We can have a guy spell him on a few third downs here and there and still have Lindsay on the field for the crucial ones.

I would happily trade him being on the field for every third down in September and October for him being fresher for December and hopefully the playoffs.

Add to that the fact that Riddick is a better receiver than a lot of WR in the league and youve just added another dimension to this offense in say the Coleman mode.

Add Khalfani Muhammad to this mix as well. That kid is explosive

Muhammad was impressive yesterday, we'll see of that continues as he gets touches against tougher competition
