Default DE Robert Ayers calls it quits

Only posting due to his being a former Bronco.

Defensive end Robert Ayers announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, he wrote: "THATS ALL FOLKS • SO THANKFUL... Was a helluva run @NFL but the time has come.. On to the next chapter of life.... #Retired #Blessed."

For a first round bust, sticking around for 10 years is pretty respectable. Good for him.

He's an example of not living up to draft hype, but also not being a bust. He was a pretty good player for most of his career. He appears to be retiring with his health and large sums of money.

    Meanwhile...Paxton Lynch be like...

Unsure how I caught the news, but they're engaged actually. She has her fingers crossed he can fend off Geno Smith apparently.

Actually, I wish nothing for the best for Paxton. Dude needed to be more grown up, wasn't ready. Doesn't mean he's a bad person.

He never reached his full potential, he'll alwats be remembered to me as one of the players Denver got for Cutler.
