Sometimes I wonder if coaches call the defense in such a way that the offense can build confidence while they can still evaluate and build the defense. Camp like this without a Manning or similar helmsman, without years of reps, is so defense-friendly.
btw lock was playing with ones a bit, pass to sanders with miller out there.
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Lock on coach saying 7on7 isn't fball: “I agree. That’s a very small part. It shows off talent but there’s a lot more that goes into the game. We know I can throw the ball and run around and make plays, it just comes down to the little things I need to make perfect.’’ #9sports

Fangio on Drew Lock competing for No. 2 QB “He had some good periods here today. I think he did his best work in 7 on 7 which isn’t football. But it’s progress. You need to see that progress in 11 on 11 and then ultimately in games. But, he’s getting better.’’ #9sports
