And I think so does mine, and Elways. The guy has played all over the entire line. Why not get him a little work at those spots in case...something happens...? It makes perfect sense. Get him a little bit of reps at T. Not a ton but a few so he can feel it out and keep it fresh. 99% of the time at LG and 1% keeping fresh on others is not a big deal. Its smart, imo.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Everything sounds great to me except this:

#Broncos Fangio said it will be adjustment coaching from the sideline. Only once did he do it as a coordinator. #Denver7

I would assume that HC Fangio will rely heavily on his coordinators to do most of the coaching.

That concerns me. His demonstrated strength is coaching defenses from the box. It's a shame to lose that, even if his role places additional demands on him. It makes no sense to me to hire a defensive expert and not fully exploit that. I'm glad for his rapport and long tenure with Donatell.

Default On eve of training camp, HC Vic Fangio outlines practice plan, provides injury updates

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — As Vic Fangio prepares to begin his first training camp as an NFL head coach, he’s already finished one of the more important aspects of the entire process.

    The schedule.

With 53 days from the start of training camp until the Broncos’ regular-season opener against the Raiders on “Monday Night Football,” how Fangio manages his team could be a determining factor in how successful the team will be this season.

Default John Elway’s honesty on QB saga steals the show at Media BBQ

    The Duke did it again.

John Elway’s greatest strengths include throwing a football, engineering a comeback and assembling a Super Bowl worthy roster.

But what’s criminally underrated about No. 7 is his ability to command a room, like he does seemingly every time he addresses the Denver media.

The Broncos President of Football Operations and General Manager was excellent as usual on Wednesday during the team’s annual media BBQ.

With bellies full of pulled pork, BBQ chicken, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and green beans, the assembled scribes waited for Elway to make his way up from team headquarters.

    Oh, no. Wave?

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    From today - Fangio:

Bug Howard was sick and Colby Wadman had a family issue he had to tend to, Vic Fangio said. Wasn’t sure what happened with Todd Davis

Fangio on phillip Lindsay: “He looked good. About like I hoped he would. He had an usual wrist injury, so he had his legs.”

    Mike Klis‏Verified account @MikeKlis 20m20 minutes ago
Vic Fangio on Courtland Sutton’s first-day drops: “I’ve been (teasing) him so I’m going to take advantage of that.” #9sports

Todd Davis is undergoing an MRI. Doesn’t appear to be too serious - talk of a calf injury - but they’ll know for sure here shortly.
