obviously, it's not as bad as losing starters. . . still stings, though-- this really does not look like a team that has the kind of depth to withstand a lot of injuries, even peripheral ones. . . thankfully fort's the only lost season so far-- but that also may be the thinnest position group right now, given butt and IRman's continuing injury sagas. . . our best ILB (not that it's saying much!) is out, and now our only legit fullback is shelved to start the year. . . nothing out of the ordinary, but still less than optimal. . .
i hate to say it, but i think we're gonna need some significant luck on the injury front to avoid another losing season. . . we saw last year how they were actually putting some momentum together, and how it immediately took all the wind out of their sails when E and chris went down. . . i still feel good about the franchise's direction, but we need another couple good drafts in the worst way. . . hopefully vic and his staff can do some strong developmental work with some of the guys currently on hand in the meantime. . . i remain rather bullish on our potential at safety, edge, maybe WR. . . DL should be a strength. . . the corners behind bausby may be guys they found in a parking lot, for all i know. . . QB is what it is right now, and we're set at RB. . . ILB is a real concern, and TE and OL are shit behind the starters. . . keep your fingers crossed, fellas. . .
