Default Ross Perot Dies at 89

Didn't really want to put this in the politics threads, but MODs can move it there if necessary.

Two-time presidential candidate and billionaire businessman Ross Perot died Tuesday, the Dallas Morning News reported.

I honestly had no clue he was still alive.

Like Chaz, I didn't realize he was still with us nor did I realize he was that young. I thought he was older than Bush.

    RIP Sir.

I hadn't really given him much thought either, but remember he was the first guy that made me think about having a business man running the country.

He was a bit wacky, and frankly, pretty enjoyable (in a funny way) to watch and listen to.

To be honest, when I first saw the headline I thought Ron Paul, and not Ross Perot. Oops...

    I'm Ross, you're the boss. Thank-you.

First Presidential candidate that I voted for.

Perot's VP pick - Admiral James Stockdale, provided one of the funniest moments in debate history when he opened by saying, "Who am ? Why am I here?

The first election I have any memory of as a kid was Clinton/Dole/Perot in 1996. Even though I was really too young to fully know what was going on, Perot always kinda stuck in my head as a figure from that race, even more so than Dole.
