The show was incredible, but Deadwood holds a soft spot for me. My wife and I got married there in 2009 and when we lived in Rapid City that town was our favorite place to go.

From what I understand, a lot of the casinos in Deadwood are starting to shut down due to lack of tourism there. Kevin Costner sold his Midnight Star casino along with his acreage up there. Sucks.

Is this the series with Timothy Olyphant? If so that was a great series and ended way too soon.

One of the greatest shows ever, and I'm kindof in the minority but I believe the ending of the show is perfect even if it wasn't intended to end so soon. Nevertheless I'm excited for the movie.

"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

A co Sclafani Imports used to have tall cans of whole peaches, 4 to a can. Was like a can of tennis balls. They were delicious.

If you liked other HBO programming no reason to not see it. Think The Sopranos in the ole west.

Incredibly entertaining. Great dialogue, great cast. Ian McShane is brilliant as Al Sweargin (one of my all-time favorite characters).

Davii, this show was practically scripted especially for you. Seriously, drop what you are doing, call in sick, whatever it takes, and binge watch all three seasons pronto. Your life will have been improved and you will thank us

Oh ****! I forgot that Brad Dourif was in that. Haha, its been so long since ive watched this series. I also like that they made Calamity Jane more of a tomboy than in other versions ive seen where they tried to "pretty" them up. I think this version of Jane was far more accurate.

The real Calamity Jane was not an attractive woman.
