Do fans really think that Rypien is actually going to ever wind up starting in Denver? I'm just curious, because clearly Elway doesn't.

Taking Lock in the second round means that he could be the future, but if Flacco bombs this season (if) then they could still take a QB in the first round next year when several good prospects will be available and keep Drew Lock as a backup. It wouldn't cost them anything since Elway throws away 2nd round picks on useless players like Demarcus Walker and Carlos Henderson and Montee Ball and Ty Sambrailo over and over again.

One more 2nd rounder who never contributed wouldn't be anything new.

Rypien could be a solid backup or trade package in the future or Locks backup in 2021 whats the problem

So I have a confession. I used to read comic books as an adult, but they were like The Walking Dead and so forth. I don't think that hurts my street cred. Much.

? Do you think it's a problem? If they develop him he could definitely be in a trade package in the future. If they keep him, he's cheap, and if he can act as backup all the better.

I don’t see how anybody can see anything but the next Case Keenum, right down to the lack of a neck.

This is destined to be the next great Broncos QB war.

There are a lot of comics these days with adult undertones. Just read the Civil War story line. It's not a kids story. Yes there are some juvenile comics, but there are some with more mature undertones geared towards adults.

Really, since about the 80's when Frank Miller hit the scene, comics have grown up a bit in their content. Some more so than others.

None of that helps Drew Lock learn from Joe Flacco.

Yeah, there is some terrific art out there. It's an easy target though. King got me tho, I'm a nerd too.

Sorry I teased you other nerds who are into comic book and fantasy stuff like game of thrones.
