He's lucky that he has an uncle with connections. Its my understanding that Elway drafted him with the last pick of the draft as a favor to his friend, Jim Kelly. He was then given an other chance by the Colts, who's HC was Uncle Jim's back up during the Bills' SB years. So, how may more friends does Uncle Jim have in prominent enough positions in the NFL to give nephew Chad another chance if he blows it in Indy?

Its amazing and sad at the same time that hes even still a topic of conversation. Shows how terrible Denver's QB situation has been.

Its an indication that Shane can't let go of the past. By my count, this is our 4th ex-QB that we've had, 3rd 7th round or UDFA, that insisted that we should've keep starting with Tebow.

Joe Flacco. Drew Lock. Brett Rypien. Move on. Get on board with the present and future.

my imaginary GM broncos QB room right now is

    1. Tebow
    2. Chad Kelly
    3. Drew Lock

    4. Sloter. He might be on practice squad.

Tebow is winding his career down after playing such a physical brand of football for so long.
And Chad Kelly and the rookie Lock are waiting in the wings for their chance, while Sloter develops.
Tebow would have never let Chad sit on that persons couch. He would have put his hand on his shoulder and taught him the ways of jesus.

Crazy thing is they dont cost near the amount of money or draft capital as Keesum,Flucco, Lynch, and Osweiler.

you dont have to say it, I know i am awesome.

Then Tebow sacrifices himself and channels his energy into Lock and we get LockBow...and never lose a game again.

If Chad Kelly is waiting in the wings to take over from Tebow, we'd never have used a 1st round pick on who would then be a career backup QB.

Lock was a 2nd round pick.

Fine, we wouldn't take a career backup QB in the 2nd either. If you take anyone at any position in the 2nd, your not planning on them being a career backup. Anyone who is looking for a career backup at QB, they won't draft them until maybe the 5th round at the earliest.
