Meh he is a TS upgrade. You could probably win some games here and there with him, but he isn't the face of a franchise type in my opinion. That being said it would be great if we could develop him into a solid number 2 behind Lock, when Flacco leaves. Or at least flip him for a pick like we did Trevor. Would mean the QB position is solidified and cost effective and we can focus on surrounding talent.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

To be fair, we did win some games here and there with Siemian. Anyway, it would be great if Rypien can develop into a solid back, and while it is long shot atp, but he developed into something more he could be used a trade chip.

If either Lock or Rypien (hell, Flacco) can exceed Siemian's result, which was nearly identical to Keenum's result as several here predicted, that is great for the Broncos. We could use some elite QB play.

Which is why I'm glad Flacco is going 16-0 this season.

I do like your positive thinking.

Let us hope Risner is an anchor on an OLine that will help Denver QBs not worrying about getting killed every drop back. This is what killed TS IMO

Nah, Siemian just wasn't starting quarterback material.

Im sure the line was some of the problem but yea Siemian simply wasnt a franchise QB. Solid backup though.

Curious Rypien isn't on that list. Is it not official?
