Default Sources: Seahawks agree to deal Clark to Chiefs

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to trade defensive end Frank Clark to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2019 first-round pick, a 2020 second-round pick and an exchange of third-round picks in this year's draft, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Clark, who had yet to sign the $17.128 million franchise tag given to him by the Seahawks, is still working out the final details of a long-term deal with the Chiefs, sources told ESPN. One it is agreed to, Clark will fly to Kansas City to take a physical and finalize the trade, sources told ESPN.

The Chiefs have two second-round picks in the 2020 draft, including the one they received from the San Francisco 49ers after dealing linebacker Dee Ford, who also had a franchise tag. The lower of the No. 2s will go to Seattle following the season.

I dont know who that is but a first and 2nd round pick? That is a lot. Who is this guy? Glad the chefs gave up so much.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

He's a stud...but another one to worry about with off field issues. It's what knocked him back to the 2nd round when he was drafted

Seems like everyone in the AFCW is making moves.

It's a massive risk for KC but the upside is huge especially after they let Justin Houston walk and traded Dee Ford.

Default Sources: Clark dealt to Chiefs, has $105.5M deal

The Kansas City Chiefs added a significant piece to their defensive rebuild on Tuesday by trading a pair of draft picks to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for defensive end Frank Clark, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Clark, who had yet to sign the $17.128 million franchise tag given to him by the Seahawks, has agreed to a five-year, $105.5 million deal that includes $63.5 million guaranteed, sources told Schefter.

The Chiefs parted with their first-round draft choice, which is 29th overall, and the teams will exchange third-round picks, sources told ESPN. The Chiefs also will send the lower of their two 2020 second-round draft picks to the Seahawks, sources told ESPN.

"I feel like I'm good. I wanted to be somewhere where I'm wanted, where I'm appreciated," Clark told ESPN's Josina Anderson on Tuesday. "I thank God that K.C. came in and showed that. ... In life, you just want to be shown that you are appreciated sometimes, and I feel like this was one of those things."

This will put a kink in the plans to give Mahomes a "$200 million" contract extension next year.

Good lord.... that's crazy.... I hope he goes elsewhere for that kind of money. Or, hell, stay in KC, that kind of money will cripple their salary cap

Clark was kicked off Michigan team for beating up a chick, two DV offenses.
